Does it sound like my husband fakes some of these aches and pains lol?!

Question: Does it sound like my husband fakes some of these aches and pains lol.?
He is 44,im 40 and we have been happily married almost 18 yrs.

Well he complains about.

His back hurting
His stomach hurting after eating all time
The back of his knees hurting all the time
Gets dizzy spells sometimes
Head aches sometimes
His left hand hurting sometimes BUT he had a bad injury to it 8 yrs ago so it hurting could be possible
1 shoulder been hurting for months.

My mom who died 6 months ago said 1 time before she died that if all that was wrong with him he wouldn't be able to function.

And 1 time i was telling his best friend of 26 yrs all of this and he said "are you sure he is not faking it" and i said "i dont know" lol.

He has worked at the same job for 12 yrs...He works in a very busy store and is on the go ALL day long there.

A few times i have told him that he should see a dr and he always says "i will be ok"

Here is what I suggest. Make and appointment for him to go see a doctor and put it on the calendar. Tell him you did it because you love him and you are worried sick about his health and he needs to do this for you not for himself. If he loves you and cares about you there is no reason why he can't do this for you. Complaining about stomach hurting after eating is an unusual complaint just for attention. As far as complaining about pain, he may be exaggerating it if he feels you don't care or acknowledge it. The more you ignore it the more he may complain. People will often do this with doctors without even realizing it. People often exaggerate pain because if they don't others don't pay attention to it. I used to do disability evaluations and its not hard to tell who is faking a problem. Watch him like a hawk. Does he limp, does he struggle any to stand up or sit down. Does he look uncomfortable or in pain. Does he move slowly. OPEN your eyes it will be obvious. Does he complain to get out of doing things .? Even if you don't see obvious signs of pain he may be hurting and exaggerating it. Health Question & Answer

He's not so much faking it as exacerbating, or I should say exaggerating. I'm sure after a long day he is a bit sore, and after he eats too much his tummy hurts.Health Question & Answer

maybe he is looking for some attention from you.?Health Question & Answer

My husband sometimes does that....but after 6 months of feeling hungry & thirsty all the time...we found out he was diabetic, but he complains so much that I just gave him loves & assumed he wanted attention. So, pay attention to his complaints & any changes in behavior & habits....like, I knew my husband was serious when he began "napping" for 3-4 hrs. everyday. But on other things, like an occasional headache or backache.....anyone who works for a living like we do, is gonna have aches & pains...and STRESS! Just love & sympathize with him & congratulations on an 18 yr. old marriage, too many people divorce as many times as most change thier socks...so congrats!
