Keep hydrated during the day because when the body is dehydrated they will have more problems with insomnia. Before bed drink 6 oz of water then wet your finger and dip the tip of it into sea salt (lightly) let it dissolve on your tongue. It actually puts you in a hypnotic sleep. I did it before expecting it not to work when I first read about it. I was wrong it worked like a charm. You can not do it with out the water because repeated use without the water can cause a bloody nose. This was in the book "You're not Sick You're Thirsty by Dr. Batmangheldij. First make sure that you room is cold and you have warm blankets. Turn on your fans FULL blast.. (if that is to loud for you low will do) Then get right under you blankets and curl up into a ball (that keeps me warm). But before that turn on the radio to some classical music or anything relaxing such as nature sounds. try making a glass of tea with valerian in it, it is usually sold in super markets as sleepy time tea or bedtime tea.
