If you write dr. infront of your name and you arent a dr...?!

Question: If you write dr. infront of your name and you arent a dr....?
if you arent really a DR. and you write dr. infront of your name, maybe even joking around... can you legally get into trouble. just because you are a doctor doesnt mean you are a medical one. you could be one in something like anthropology or dance... you know what i mean. anyhow... can you get into legal trouble and who is the wiser.? this is assuming you arent doing anything serious like pretending to be a medical doc or nothing. The word "doctor" is used to indicate a person who is particularly well educated in a certian area. Benjamin Franklin was often addressed as "Doctor" despite having had little formal education beyond grade school. It isn't so much what you put BEFORE your name that causes problems. The problem comes with what you put AFTER your name. Don't use designations like MD or DO...DDS..etc unless you've earned the right to use it. There could be big legal consequences for doing soHealth Question & Answer

You can only get in trouble if you actually do doctor stuff, like go into the hospital and operate on people. You'll know if you ever seen Drake and Josh, Drake disguised himself as a doctor and started operating..
Younger kids however (like me. Even though I'm an 11 year old, haha.)
some of them just pretend and play around, as long as you say you're pretending when you type messages and you don't sign your name with Dr, you're fine!
As for me.. I just pretend and use my imagination <_< >_> Yeah. I still want to be a kid. I don't want to grow up, 2 more years intil teenage life, waah! T_T
