it made her throw up all this mucus like and hour and half later it was horrible. She was throwing up lots of mucus. Is that normal.? she seems better now but I didn't think it was suspose to do that.Health Question & Answer

If the medicine was exactly what she needed to make her mucus get loose, she has to get rid of it, be it by swallowing or throwing it up.
Try to give her the next dose at least 2 hours after her last meal, and if she throws up mucus, let her rest for a while (at least 1 hour) and then start to give her fluids, just in case she looses a lot of them.
Help her by keeping the air in her room humid and at an average temperature of about 75. Keep her chest and feet covered, and place and extra pillow under her head.Health Question & Answer
