Dont feel embarrassed, its a human problem! I have had too so yeah HA HA my butt itches!!!
Anyways rectal itching can be a few strange things like:
STDS, Constipation, Diarrhea. Or some less heard of things..
Anal Fissure- tear in the rectal walls
Fistulas and Abcess- Infection in a pocket under anal tissue.
Since its only itching you have its not something serious. Bleeding, pain, constipation, and small, bloody, pale or tar like stools are a bad sign.
So I think its more likely an infection or fissure. It happens to the best of us! also if you were recently or currently taking antibiotics that can be a side effect lol. Good luck and God BlessHealth Question & Answer

How do you know it is not pin worms.? It could be internal hemorrhoids. Have you used a new soap or washed your clothes in a new soap or fabric softener.? Eaten anything different.? Had anal sex.? Any of these can cause itching but it sounds like pin worms. Good luck at the Dr.Health Question & Answer
