The questions that needs to be answered are, "Where is the Pain.?" and "Do you have more pain at the end of the day, but it feels pretty good in the morning.?"

If the pain is on the front of your lower leg about 1-2 inches below your kneecap- think Osgood Schlatter's. Treated by not doing activities like running. this is a self resolving condition.

If you feel pretty good in the morning, but it hurts at the end of the day- your problem is in your feet, not your knees. Feet being misaligned can cause pain in the knees. I personally have seen many patients with knee pain that was almost instantly relieved by having a chiropractor adjust their feet.

If the pain is really deep or on the sides, It could be muscular or joint. A chiropractor can also help out with these also.

I would recommend you start with a chiropractor. If it is something more serious, they will refer you out to a medical doctor.

Good Luck with this

It sounds like you could have Osteoarthritis (arthritis in the knee) or possibly osgood slaughters which could require surgery (or a brace). It's common in teenagers. Health Question & Answer
