Question: Would I know if there was lead stuck in my hand.?
I was holding a mechanical pencil and I turned around and somehow it ran into my had and left an open cut. Then I dropped the pencil. I don't know what happened to the point. I tried to find it on the ground but I did not see it. Should I be worried.?Health Question & Answer

no. i have plenty of lead in my palms. i can see them, theyre black spots under the skin. i asked a doctor and she said that graphite in the flesh just stays there like a tattoo and doesnt hurt you.

No worries, even if it is stuck in your hand, your body will force it out - like a splinter that dosn't get pulled. It won't cause blood poisoning or anything - it is not deep enough to do any damage.Health Question & Answer
you shouldnt really, cuz lead is small and hard to see. but if you really are wooried go to your doctor and tell them what happened they might check it and tell you.Health Question & Answer

Nothin' to worry about. They don't use real lead in pencils anymore. Maybe a few. But many brands use fake lead
