My fiance has several different types of migraines. He is in preventative medicine and is also prescribed Relpax to treat when he actually gets a migraine...But he takes the Relpax quite frequently, sometimes several times a week. How frequent is too frequent, and could he damage his liver or other organs by taking so much of this drug.?

If the initial dose is ineffective, controlled clinical trials have not shown a benefit of a second dose to treat the same attack. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 80 mg.
