Cymbalta for nerve pain?!
Question: Cymbalta for nerve pain.?
I am a 32 year old female, have 3 herniated discs in my back which cause nerve pain in my legs. My neurologist gave me Cymbalta for the pain. I told him I'm not depressed, and he insisted that he wasn't implying that I was depressed but that Cymbalta can help with nerve pain. Has anyone ever heard of this or used Cymbalta for pain.? I feel like he is implying that I must be depressed (which I'm not) and that the pain is resulting from depression.
