Is It Coffee or Sex that is causing this?!

Question: Is It Coffee or Sex that is causing this.?
Here is my story, About the end of sophomore year in high school I started drinking coffee, normally because i always felt groggy in the morning. It thought it was good for me. But later junior year I basically eperienced a breakdown and became very stressed out and angry and always in a bad mood. Senior year i was very depressed and anxious. But I do not know if coffee was the cause for all of this. Could it have been sex.? I used to, like every other teenage boy, masterbate constantly lol because it felt so good. I started freshman year. Kept doing it for a while until about a month ago. But now I am feeling better because I quit. Was the depression and anxiety from masterbation.? or from Coffee.? I am currently taking many multivitamins. I am not sad anymore but I am still overly anxious almost all the time. Can somebody help me.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
yeah caffeine is a drug so it affects your moods, i think it can cause depression but i know it is definitely linked to anxiety. i had the same problem in high school when i was drinking large amounts of caffeine. i just drank water for awhile and felt a lot better. i would try decaff.
masterbation should relax u not cause anxietyHealth Question & Answer

Sex and masturbation actually releases chemicals in the pleasure center of your brain. Theses make you feel good, not bad. Honestly, sex and masturbation are more likely to relieve stress.

As far as coffee, some people don't do well with caffeine. It make some people drowsy, others hyper, and others don't react at all. I'd more inclined to think the caffeine in the coffee was causing your problems. If you like the taste of coffee, you can always try decaff.Health Question & Answer

You could be caffeine sensitive, but its definately not the sex, that should relax you.Health Question & Answer
