What classifies as antidepressant mania?!

Question: What classifies as antidepressant mania.?
Basically ive become a spontaneous nut. I get ideas and i just simply have to do them. Ive been doing all sorts of things and im really having a good time compared to being depressed.

I take 10 mg of lexapro i dont constantly feel happy i can get very depressed still but i can pick myself up easy.

I find myself doing weird things, my muscle ache from all that i have done. Is this what people do that aren't depressed.? Is every normal person this proactive.?

also i should add im 19 years old.Health Question & Answer

You can judge whether you think you fit it. Antidepressant induced mania is no different clinically than plain old mania. It's thought that those who experience mania while in response to antidepressant treatment had the underlying vulnerability all along. Not all research supports this, though. You should talk to your doctor if you think this is the case. He will probably modify your treatment to include some type of mood stabilizer.Health Question & Answer
