Question: Sugar/Caffeines effects on psychosis.?
Will high intake of sugar and caffeine affect my psychosis.?
I've found that on the days that I have energy drinks and lots of sugar, I tend to have a panic attack or get incredibly manic, I'm wondering if this is a coincidence or if I should be cutting back on these things.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Sugar robs your body of B vitamins which are needed for optimal mental health and caffeine interferes with absorption of zinc, another nutrient that is needed for battling psychosis. If you must do this try and eat more fruit and veg and nuts and seeds (sunflower and pumpkin are good).
