Can you go to a family doctor/general practitioner for anxiety disorder/depression?!
Question: Can you go to a family doctor/general practitioner for anxiety disorder/depression.?
For a prescription for Paxil (or similar), can you go to a regular family doctor rather than a psychiatrist/psychologist.? The reasons would be ease, co-pay/insurance, and simplicity. Thanks!Health Question & Answer

yes you can--you can talk to them and explain to them in how you feel and so on...they can from there determine what may be best for you. they too may also suggest to you that you go and speak to someone..along with any meds that may be prescribled.Health Question & Answer
