Okay. First off, I sincerely sympathize with you. My mother is a drug addict and I was put in the exact same situation. What you need to do is get out of the situation. It it's hurting you and causing you a lot of trouble, you don't need to be in that kind of environment. It will be hard, but life doesn't need to be lived with that. However, do know that she still loves you. It's the alcohol that's hurting you, not her. An addiction is NOT a person. It's a shadow of that person. If you've already made numerous attempts to reach out and help her, try to go to a councilor or someone else you trust to help you. Remember that if a person doesn't want help, you can't force them. Oftentimes it takes a person having to hit rock bottom and losing everything to realize the mistakes that they have made.Health Question & Answer

experience. Hope I helped. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

I don't know how old you are but you should talk to someone about it. AA has programs for the families of alcoholics. Al anon is for the adults family members and alateen is for the children of alcoholics. You should contact your nearest AA group and find out where there is a Ala teen program near you or if you're old enough an alanon group. also you should find out if you could stay with some one else if you truly don't want to live with her. Where is your father is that an option.?.? Or another family member.?.? A lot depends on your age and if you have family that could take care of you. I'm not sure how bad the situation is by the absolutely last resort might be forster care and that's a some timey thing. You can never tell what kind of family you'll be sent to and how they will treat you. Teens get moved from family to family a lot and that's not real way to live. So see if there are other options. But first find someone to talk to so that you're not feeling so frustrated and lonely. IF there's someone at school you can talk to talk to them and see if they can help you.Health Question & Answer

How old are you.? It sounds like it may be best if you had your own space to grow and blossom. If being around her leaves you feeling bored and depressed I don't believe that is a healthy relationship.
Blessings to you and your mother.
