it's called stockholm syndrome.

Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker, regardless of the danger (or at least risk) in which they have been placed. The syndrome is named after the Norrmalmstorg robbery of Kreditbanken at Norrmalmstorg, Stockholm, Sweden, in which the bank robbers held bank employees hostage from August 23 to August 28 in 1973. In this case, the victims became emotionally attached to their victimizers, and even defended their captors after they were freed from their six-day ordeal. Health Question & Answer

stockholm symdrome is what you are suffering from right now. it's a disorder when a victim of abuse or attack feels they need to be connected and a part of the life of their attacker. it is why a lot of women do not turn in their rapist, why a lot of women blame themselves for rape, why a lot of children deny child abuse and why a lot of kidnap victims do not try to get away.

anyone who tells you that you are "weird" or "messed up" or anything negative; dismiss that. they are ignorant souls that shouldn't have answered your question.

my advice is to get into therapy or call a rape crisis center. they can help you get professional help and possibly psychiatric medication (there is no shame in any of this). i wish you the best of luck in figuring things out for yourself.

Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker, regardless of the danger (or at least risk) in which they have been placed. Go get immediate help for this from a psychologist/psychiatrist combo because this can be very dangerous because you might put yourself in a bad situation with your attacker again!Health Question & Answer

it could be post traumatic stress disorder. although i've never heard of that happening, i suppose each individual can express it in different ways. or you (or the girl you are talking about) might just want more sex and it's natural to feel that way since we're only human and sex feels good. or she just wants attention. it's just from the wrong person and you or her should know that.Health Question & Answer

I would call it Stockholm Syndrome. I only remember it from that one James Bond movie, where that woman is in love with that guy that has a bullet in his head. Sophie Marceau I think her real name was. It was sort of weird, but I don't know all that much about it.Health Question & Answer
