Why is it that so many people hurt others, but feel absolutely no remorse in doing so?!

Question: Why is it that so many people hurt others, but feel absolutely no remorse in doing so.?
The wife who cheats on her husband. The employee who steals from the company cash drawer. The father who verbally and physically abuses his son. The gossip who intentionally spreads falsehoods.

Some of them might feel bad about it, but MANY of them go through their everyday lives with a big smile on their face and seem to feel no guilt or remorse whatsoever. They act like everything is great.

Are these types narcissists.? Sociopaths.? Too selfish and ignorant to know that they are hurting others.?

I am at a loss as to how these types can sleep at night or look in the mirror. It is even more astonishing why so many people defend them. Perhaps their apologists are equally unethical.

People are thrill seekers. We are the only animal to strap ourselves to something dangerous in order to feel a rush. People are also dumb. When we have problems instead of handling them head first like we should we choose to ignore it in an effort that it will resolve it's self. When we cannot handle something we do something else we think we are in control of. When a girl you have liked for a while repeatedly turns you down, we go to the internet in hopes of Harmony and Match.com for people who are looking like us. Instead of looking for ourselves.Health Question & Answer

I dont understand these people either. the only speculation i can think of is they feel better about their own flaws by pointing out others.

my girlfriend has 2 deadly diseases that have caused her to become paralyzed from the waist down. she was in the bus a long time before i met her, and a guy with a walker of all people, started telling her she shouldnt go out in public, she'll never be normal, adn that she's just a burden to society.

some people are just cruel and i guess we'll never relaly know why.Health Question & Answer

Well, that's harsh. They are noy sychopaths. They just don't think like us. Or want something more. It can't always be prevented. It could happen to you!!
And don't assume they have no guilt. That is wrong. You don't know how they feel!
So some may have mental health issues but not cheaters. No. That is wrong to assume.

Okay.?.?Health Question & Answer

I think most of them do feel bad when they hurt others, but they think it's weakness to show remorse.Health Question & Answer
