Question: WHat is the best herb for anxiety.?
Answers:
Valerian Root and 5-htp would be my top two. Give them a try, valerian would particuraly help night-time anxiety, I know from experience and from friends who have taken it. There are a few more, check out the site on my sources. And don't listen to people pushing out pharms., I am currently in school majoring in psychology and take Zoloft. I have been taking it for a long time, and if I knew of the herbal remedies I now know, I would of never started it. Natural anxiety medications won't have such a strong dependancy, no withdrawls and the side effects definatley won't be anything compared to the ones the medical industry puts out. I am actually writing a paper on this subject in a psychology course, hopefully it dosen't piss the teacher off :X. There are various studies on many natural antidepressants vs. SSRI's and you will be supprised by the results.. Good luck, hope they work for you.
