sometimes i feel depressed also but this how to deal with it
Talk therapy (a very common treatment for depression) helps people give words to sad feelings, talk about their situation, and feel understood. Therapy also helps people learn how to turn thoughts in a more positive direction and come up with a plan to problem-solve any situation that might have triggered the depression.

Whether or not you're in therapy for depression, there are some things you can do to get relief. Don't underestimate the power of seemingly simple actions, like exercise and eating right, to help put your mood back in balance. Of course, people who are depressed may not feel much like being active. But make yourself do it anyway (ask a friend to exercise with you if you need to be motivated).

It's also common for depression to have an impact on social life because it can make a person feel withdrawn and subdued. Although you may not feel up for a party, try to spend time with a good friend doing something you both enjoy or just hanging out. Feeling connected to others helps relieve depression.

Above all, be kind to yourself. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. Don't let this translate into down-on-yourself thinking. Try to remember your strengths, gifts, and blessings. And be patient. Depression takes time to heal.Health Question & Answer

Strenuous exercise 3 times a week has been shown to be as effective as SSRI's aka. paxil, prozac, zoloft.

Depression ie. feeling tired, fatigued, sadness, guilt has to do just as much with the body as it does the brain.

I went through years of Depression from 13-20years old. I later found out I have celiac disease (an allergy to gluten) so that had an affect on me.

I noticed though that I was not sleeping properly at all, I would stay up all night, aka goto bed at 2am and get up to goto school at 7am, and not just once a week, this was everyday I would do this.

On top of that, I was eatting waaay more than I needed to. Pigging out when I wasn't even hungry, well this is just going to stuff up your digestive system, and your not going to want to do much of anything!

Sleep is extremely important, especially REM sleep, it rests your body, and does tons of important healthy things that you absolutely need.

Depression is a chemical imbalance. But it's become unbalanced because of our bad habits. Some people are more genetically likely to have such bad habits, and too give into temptations to much.

I have used my own body and mind as a gineau pig. I worked out hardcore, I ate fantastically, I slept great, and I felt wonderful.

Than occasionally I slip back into my bad habits. Sleep bad, eat bad, drink too much alcohol. Than I feel lethargic, fatigued, lazy, unhappy.

It's not for life that you have depression, it's for life that your more suseptible to digging a hole into depression.

Eat only when your hungry, never eat untill your 'FULL', sleep 8-9hrs a night, exercise often.

You might want to get your blood sugar tested to make sure your body is handling sugar fine. Health Question & Answer

it's different for every person. You can get over periods of depression with or without drugs or a combination of both depending how severe it is, there is always the threat that it will come back, but you can cope and have a good life.Health Question & Answer

Depression is just mental attitude. What we choose to think affects how we feel. It takes some effort, there is no "magic wand" for this stuff. But it's easier than you probably think to retrain your mind to BE happy.

Sure, there are hormonal and chemical imbalances to take into account too. And no amount of positive thinking will make every minute of your life a dream come true. But a LOT can be done.

I like the books by Wayne Dyer as a good starter on ways to retrain one's brain. I'll put links to two others you might get from your local library.
