What distinguishes ADD from Bipolar 2 Disorder?!
Question: What distinguishes ADD from Bipolar 2 Disorder.?
Answers:
ADD people have mood swings caused by stimulation of their environment where Bipolar people have mood swings independent of what is happening to them.
Something new or novel comes along will stimulate an ADD person to be "in the zone" or from the view of the bipolar, "hypomanic". But for the Bipolar person, they could have the same kind of "in the zone" feeling with no external event, Now they do have events that can act as triggers but more often than not, bipolars have mood shifts not tied to any thing going on in their life, whereby the ADDers mood is shifting to something going on outside of them.Health Question & Answer
