There's an unfortunate side effect of Akathisia, which is something more than restlessness. I've heard it's a side-effect of Abilify, though I experienced it on Risperdal... they are related drugs.
It is truly a horrid feeling... like not being comfortable in your own skin. Restlessness cannot describe it fully. Fortunately (kind of) my doctor prescribed me a small dose of another drug (Cogentin) to counteract the akathisia. It actually worked wonderfully, though I later disliked taking so many medications. I needed it at the time, though.
