Why is this situation making me feel so sick?!

Not quite sure how it works but I work full-time office person and my desk is actually facing the wall so i couldnt see if anyone came in and start talking to other people in the same room as where I am. So i got this issue with Social+work situation. Example: When someone come to the room, and they start talking to other people while i am busy working my way through organising and thinking at the same time and when these people talking behind me, it makes me feel so sick in my tummy that i have to hold the gas. It is a uncomfortable situation for me and not quite sure how to deal with it. This usually distracts me and slow my pace down.

i wish i can wear a headphone and i used to!! but i found it very rude and i think everybody does too.
So is there any other way to deal with this situation without getting so sick in my tummy.?
Note; Im not a very social person too but when someone come up to me talking about work stuff, im more than happy to help them anytime though.

Anyone got any experience or suggestions.?
