Question: I am having a brain MRI tomorrow, how do I stay still.? What if I have an itch.?
I have trouble staying still, and usually have to itch my head or something when I can't move (like when I am getting my haircut). What are some tips so that I won't move while having the MRI.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
You are able to talk to the technicians while you are getting the MRI. If you have any problems, you can speak to them and tell them so. Ask them before you start, they will answer all of your questions. If you concentrate on your breathing, gently in and out, close your eyes and daydream about sometime pleasant, that will distract you, and help so you don't worry about having to move.Health Question & Answer
Keep your eyes closed, and ask to listen to music--something that you can zone out to. Concentrate on breathing deeply, which will relax you. And by all means, don't worry! ;-)Health Question & Answer
