Will my cavity spread to my other teeth, and would I become toothless?Im so worried.?!

Question:

Answer:
A cavity doesn't spread but it is possible to get a cavity in other teeth..best thing is to go to the dentist and get it cleaned out and get it filled before your tooth decays and breaks apart!!
if you don't get them filled, they can become infected. the infection WILL spread to your other surrounding teeth. I know.. it happened to me. Go to your dentist right away! : (
YESSSSSSSS! IT DOES! IFTHE ROT IN THE CAVITY IS ON THE OUTSIDE OR SIDE OF THE TOOTH IT CANNNNNN TRANSFER TO OTHER TEETH!
Hope you get it filled because a root canal and a cap are very expensive, and painful.Take care.
A cavity from one tooth won't necessarily spread to other teeth. However, the decay and the bacteria from that tooth can get to other teeth and decay them as well. Further, it can also have a bad effect on your health. And yes, if left unchecked, you will eventually loose your teeth. You will be having dinners that are made with a blender. See a dentist as soon as possible.
If the cavity in the tooth leans on another tooth, then it will make a cavity in that tooth too. But if the cavity is say in the middle of the tooth then no. It can't affect the other tooth. But if the tooth with the cavity becomes infected then it will go down to the root and it could cause all kinds of root and gum damage. If you are too worried then go to a dentist. You could also use peroxide or even salt water to swish around in your mouth.
No, but a resulting infection can. Also, the cause of the cavity (improper cleaning and flossing) can create more in the other teeth. Get hose 2 taken care of and get regular cleanings/checkups.
