Can fresh air make you sick?!

Question: Can fresh air make you sick.?
I'm used to the dank, outside air, that isn't so lovely or nature-ful.

But recently, i took a trip to the mountains and felt light-headed and disoriented.

Then I come back home, feeling sick and cold, and "not right"--
was it because I wasn't used to the fresh air or cleanness.?
