For example you can go "Cold Turkey" with cigarettes but you could die if you try the same with some class A drugs. The other type of drugs you need to be very care-full of are prescribed medication.
Its not that uncommon for people to become addicted to prescribed pain killers for example, if you want to come of these you will need to step down your withdrawal and really you should speak with your doctor first.
