Question: Sex is painful =(....?

I am 5 months pregnant and having sexual intercourse with my boyfriend is very painful. It burns and throbs down there when we first start... like a painful rubbing-raw feeling, then it goes away. After we are done, I can barely sit or walk without it hurting really bad.
It's like a throbbing pain, feels very inflamed. Since i've been pregnant i've had several tests done for STD's and all of them are negative so it's not that.
I haven't asked a doctor about this yet, i'm just wondering if anyone else has been through the same thing, or if you have any idea why it hurts so bad. ThanksHealth Question & Answer

I dont think that it has anything to do with being pregnant. This has happened to be also and it went on for about 3 months- the exact same symptoms as you. Sometimes during sex I felt like I could pass out. I finally got referred to a gyno and I was diagnosed with vulvodinia.
