do you mean after your first period.
that is different for everyone.
i had my first period then didnt have one for another few months then it became shorter and shorter over about a year i think.
i dont think there is anything you can do, the contraceptive pill might help you if your desperate for it to become regular.
you should ask your doctor about that
other than that i suggest you should always be prepared for the event
