Only your gynecologist can tell you if it's safe for you to be on the pill. I was prescribed it shortly after turning 15. There is no "good" pill. Everybody is different, and a pill that works wonders on one person might make another spot frequently and make their skin and cramps worsen. Talk to your mom about your problems first, and see what the gynecologist can do for you.Health Question & Answer

Try taking Naproxen 3 days before and during you get your period. This works better than the pill and I've been on the pill for almost 5 months.

If it doesn't work then ask your mum that you want to go on the pill for your irregular period and the pain.

I'm not sure if it's safe. No one but your doctor can tell you what pill you should be taking. Each woman is affected by the pill differently.Health Question & Answer

Don't just go on BC to cover up your problems. The BC would just cover it up, not find out what is wrong and fix it. Go to the gyno and see if they can find out what is wrong before treating the symptoms.Health Question & Answer
