Actually your Birth control pill could give you a hormonal imbalance so if it is not doing it's job go see your Doctor. You could just need a different type of pill as your body is constantly changing. So I wouldn't exactly say immune as the birth control pill is made up of Hormones and has added hormones to your system just the balance of the Hormones is no longer right for you. Hope this helps!
There are birth control pills that help with acne. It sounds like your hormones are a bit out of sinc as Acne is caused by hormones it is very easy to just go get a new prescription and one that will control your acne. If you are unsure about whether you can get pregnant anything is possible as all birth control methods are not a hundred percent effective. Use another birth control method on top off that. i don't know but i do know two people who had a baby while they were on the pill and they weren't missing any either Health Question & Answer
