Short of getting knocked up, how can i make my periods stop? Can i get a pill from the doctor?I?!
Question: Short of getting knocked up, how can i make my periods stop.? Can i get a pill from the doctor.?I.?
I'm hoping to spend about 14 weeks in India, I'm already having to get my head around the whole no toilet paper (although i will take about 10 packs of baby wipes and 10 bottle of antibac hand gel!!) splashing **** with water and wiping with hand bit. I just want to take menstrual flows out of the equation as I am really heavy and i get bad cramp, and i dont wanna have to worry about this on a sleeper train! If i go to the docs can i go on the pill for this.? Or can i be given a pill to make them stop or something.?
Thanks

um...If you plan on staying on the pill you can talk to your doc about something like Seasonique.Health Question & Answer
Your doctor will be able to give you the best answer!
I think it's possible to take a regular birth control pill and just skip the placebo's at the end of the month that usually signal your body to allow it to menstruate.
There are probably a wide range of options available for you, just ask your doctor.Health Question & Answer

See your doctor and ask. Like the previous two people said, birth control pills without the placebo break can suppress bleeding and also the depo does for some women. I think some women get breakthrough bleeding though so no guarantees. See what your doctor suggests. Good luck.
