You will never really know when it will end. Mine are like yours. They are heavy and most of the time they are 7 or 8 days. If it lasts more than 8 days go see a doctor to make sure everything is fine but I bet everything is. It's really rare to have something wrong when you're pretty young. also, drink a lot of water. Believe me it works miracles! For me and my friends it actually helps make the period go by faster!Health Question & Answer
Sweetie it is impossible for a doctor to tell you how long your period will last, let alone us. Normally it should begin to ease off by now. It depends how old you are, whether you are late, and whether you may be anaemic, as iron deficiency anaemia (very common in young girls) can cause the periods to be heavier. If you continue past Tuesday just go to have a check up. Periods usually last between three to seven days, the average being five. They are sometimes more heavier than usual, and tend to be heavier if you are late. Stress, not eating enough etc can cause periods to stop temporarily. Good luckHealth Question & Answer
Heavy periods are natural, some months its heavier than others. You just have to try and get on with it. Make sure and always carry a tampon or pad with you so you dont make a mess of your underwear. If its painful, make sure and take paracetamol or another painkiller such as ibuprofen.
If it started on tuesday, it'll finish this Tuesday.
Periods commonly last a week, well they usually should, but your periods may be irregular up to the age of sixteen.
So it should start going a browny colour which signals its stopping, by sunday to monday. Then stop on tuesday.

regular menstruation lasts for a few days (usually 3 to 5 days, but anywhere from 2 to 7 days is considered normal) I once had an aunt who had her period for 2 weeks. Everyone varies. If your period does not end by next week's Tuesday, I would consider visiting your doctor if the bleeding doesn't stop or at least slow down. You will know your period is ending when you start spotting. then you know it will be over in 1-2 daysHealth Question & Answer
It might take more than a week, my first heavy one did. Advice, use tampons not pads, if the pads leak the blood soaks into the jeans and everyone knows someone's having her period. It gets lighter over time, and wear a pad to bed. It won't flow so much in bed, but you don't want to sleep in bloody sheets. also remove the tampon every four hours or so and you won't get infection. Just some tips :)Health Question & Answer
CONGRATULATIONS! Periods last about 5-7 days and toward the middle of the cycle are heaviest. Yours will probably end on Monday or Tuesday and will be slowing down soon. Some advice................well, lets see if your cycle isn't consistent during the first year or two don't worry it's perfectly normal! Well, hope that helped.Health Question & Answer
Usually when people start their periods they last quite long. when i first started it was a week.
It just depends on the person, the blood you are losing is not blood from your veins though, its the lining of the womb!
Dont worry it should be over soon and then next time it should get lighter and not last as longHealth Question & Answer

ever since i started my period ive been heavier than you could ever imagine. you have nothing to worry about, and plus, tampons actually make your flow lighter. and you might want to try birth control because it can regulate your periods and make them shorter and lighter.Health Question & Answer

It depends on your age, how long you have been having your period and some other factors (including international travel). I used to have really really heavy periods, but they seem to have settled down a bit now I am older. Health Question & Answer
