1.basic skills in giving cpr?2importance in giving cpr?!
Question:
Answers:
Basic skills in CPR = knowing the amount of compressions to make (15, I believe) and knowing how to tilt the head back to open the airway.
Importance = so you can save lives if need be, if someone is choking, has collapsed and stopped breathing, or has something blocked in their airway and is unable to respond.
Other Answers:
Take a class and learn it, that's the only true way to understand. You have to be accurate at the process, otherwise you can endanger lives instead of saving them. FYI: The current rate of compression has recently changed from 15 to 20 and it's 2 rescue breaths. Infants and children are completly different. Take the class. Trust me. I've been certified 5 years and things are always changing.
To save a life.
