I am from Australia and we have the highest rate of skin cancer int he world. The cancer council recommend a broad spectrum sunscreen of 30+ be worn every day, and re-applied every 4 hours (every 2 if you are swimming or sweating).
You need the broad spectrum as well as the 30+ so that is blocks out both UV-A and UV-B rays.
