Because your not breathing in enough oxygen when you vomit! its like when you hold your breath for a long time you start to see stars. its your brain losing oxygen.

Probably from shutting the eyes too tightly for too long while in pain from vomitting. If it's not temporary, than that's cause for concern. Otherwise, I wouldn't fret about it.
